Dr. Penzin Dichen Bhutia is a general and laparoscopic surgeon whose focus is on breast and abdominal conditions handled with the smallest possible footprint and the largest possible explanation beforehand.
The Path
Dr. Bhutia completed her MBBS followed by MS in General Surgery, training across busy tertiary centres in eastern India. Her surgical residency emphasised laparoscopic technique alongside open general surgery.
The Practice
Her clinical work spans breast lump evaluation, gall-bladder disease, hernia repair, tumour assessment and the everyday backbone of general surgery, piles, fissure and appendicectomy. She is comfortable in both laparoscopic and open theatres.
At Zivah
At Zivah Fertility & Women’s Wellness Centre, Siliguri, she handles the surgical line of women’s general health, particularly breast lumps and gall-bladder cases that surface during gynaecology consults. Her practice continues at Mukherjee Hospital.
